The Northern Ireland Football League are delighted to launch the new look NIFL Football Awards.

The prestigious new awards are a modern take on celebrating the best of all professional football in Northern Ireland, both on and off the pitch – honouring not only the best individual performances but the best-in-class for the contribution NIFL clubs make to their communities and the football industry.

This unmissable black-tie event of Awards & entertainment will be hosted by MUTV presenter Helen Evans and Cool FM’s Curtis McCosh, on the evening of Saturday 12 April 2025 at the stunning Titanic building in Belfast.

Nominations for the following awards are now open for submissions from the public:

Lifetime Contribution Award - sponsored by the Irish FA

The lifetime contribution award recognises an individual that has left a legacy in Irish League football. This individual has went above and beyond to play a huge part in their club over their lifetime.

The recipient of this award can be a club volunteer, employee or fan who has displayed commitment to their club over the years.

Heart of the Club - sponsored by TicketCo

The Heart of the Club award recognises a supporter that shows total commitment, dedication and passion for their team.

Club Community Initiative of the Year - sponsored by Third Sector Connect

This award highlights a NIFL club that is fully immersed in their community, making an impact in the local area for example through the likes of youth programmes, charity work and, reinvestment of funds.

Club Marketing Campaign of the Year - sponsored by Omega Outdoor

This award highlights a NIFL club that has developed a marketing/sponsorship strategy to maximise engagement with their fans. This is award is aimed at club marketing and media personnel. 

Female Contribution to Professional Football in Nothern Ireland

This award recognises a female who has made outstanding contribution to the growth of women's football in Northern Ireland. This can include volunteers, players, club staff, a female that you feel has broken barriers to make an impact in the NI football community.
