MALLARDS HAVE TOO MUCH FOR NEWRY
Ballinamallard United picked up an important three points with victory over Newry City at Ferney Park.
The Mallards moved in front on 14 minutes after Jamie Dunne followed up to turn home the rebound after Darragh Stewart's initial effort had been cleared off the line.
However Newry hit back moments later through Ryan McNickle when he created space for himself in the box to blast home the equaliser.
That was how it stayed until ten minutes from time when Ryan Morris popped up to poke the ball home from close range and claim the winner for the Mallards.
