MATCH BALL FOR O'CONNOR BUT EAGLES GRAB DRAMATIC EQUALISER
Tiarnan O'Connor bagged a hat-trick for HW Welders but in the end the visitors had to settle for a point from a dramatic clash with Armagh City at Holm Park.
The game got off to a blistering start when, on two minutes, Igor Rutkowski found the net after Marc McConnell had knocked on Stefan Lavery's defence splitting pass.
The Welders levelled on ten minutes when O'Connor rose highest to head home Josh Kee's cross into the box before, two minutes after that, he ran onto a through ball to keep his cool to beat the advancing home keeper.
The 22-year-old then claimed the match ball early in the second half after making the most of a defensive mix-up to find the net with his right foot.
Conor Mullen pulled one back for the Eagles on the hour but the Welders held on until the fifth minute of added time when Ethan Jordan headed home the dramatic equaliser after a corner had been whipped into the box!
