NEWRY PUT BRAKES ON SEASIDERS
Two Ryan McNickle goals helped Newry City defeat leaders Bangor at The Showgrounds.
The 25-year-old needed just six minutes to open the scoring after powering forward to beat keeper Evan Ovendale with a classy finish.
And he poked home the second around the half-hour mark after getting on the end of a superb run and pass from Jamie Doran.
The visitors pulled one back nine minutes into the second half with a stunning effort from the edge of the box curled into the top corner.
