STEELE AND ROOHI ON TARGET FOR ARDS
Ards strengthened their hopes of a top six finish with a two-goal defeat of Annagh United at Clandeboye Park.
Aidan Steele fired the Irish Cup semi-finals in front with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock with a strike from the edge of the area after the visiting defence failed to clear the ball.
It was a slender lead that Ards eventually doubled in stoppage time at the end of the game when, on the counter attack, Darius Roohi slotted home following a defensive slip.
