NO SCORE AT THE SHOWGROUNDS
The sides sitting second and third in the Playr-Fit Championship cancelled each other out at The Showgrounds.
The Roesiders had the better opportunities throughout with an early John Butcher strike being well saved by keeper Jack Mills while, a little later, Ruairi Boorman saw a header from a Butcher corner tipped over.
Emmett McGuckin then sent a looping header over before the break, with Lewis Tosh then having an effort from the edge of the area tipped away by Mills on the hour.
McGuckin was denied again soon after that before the Welders almost snatched the points when substitute Steven Ball sent a fierce drive through a crowded box but Martin Gallagher did well to get down low to make the save.
