A packed weekend of Sports Direct Premiership action produced victories for Coleraine, Ballymena United, Dungannon Swifts, Crusaders and, on Friday night, Cliftonville.

Leaders Linfield stumbled for the first time since November with a two-goal reversal to Coleraine at Windsor Park.

Connor Murray grabbed both goals for the Bannsiders, opening the scoring on 22 minutes after combining with Kyle Spence to fire low into the bottom corner.

And he doubled up midway through the second half with an effort from the edge of the area that deceived David Walsh on its way into the net.

Dungannon Swifts, in third place, got the better of Larne by one goal at Inver Park.

What proved to be the winner came right on the stroke of half-time through Andrew Mitchell after he kept his cool to slot past Rohan Ferguson after receiving the ball from Brandon Bermingham.

Crusaders also needed just one goal to get past the on-form Glenavon at Mourneview Park.

Daniel Larmour hit the winner just a couple of minutes from the break when he controlled a Jarlath O’Rourke towards the back post before slotting it into the opposite corner.

Ballymena United picked up a first win of 2025 with a two-goal victory over Portadown at The Showgrounds.

Teenager James Hood fired the Sky Blues in front on 26 minutes with a rising half-volley past Aaron McCarey.

Joe Moore then made sure of the points deep into added time when he was on hand to knock home the rebound after Success Edogun’s initial effort had been saved.

Meanwhile, the bottom of the table clash between Carrick Rangers and Loughgall at Taylor’s Avenue ended scoreless.

Both sides had their chances, with Kyle Cherry failing to convert from the spot late in the first half while, for the Villagers, Kirk McLaughlin struck the woodwork deep into the second half.

The action kicked off on Friday evening when two goals in quick succession midway through the second half handed Cliftonville the win over Glentoran at Solitude.

The deadlock was broken when Ryan Curran pounced on the loose ball after Daniel Gyollai had initially done well to deal with Rory Hale's shot from distance.

Then, three minutes after that, Jack Keaney doubled the home advantage when he rose highest at the back post to head home a corner.
