FIVE STAR RATHFRILAND BAG THE POINTS
Rathfriland Rangers stormed to a crushing 5-1 defeat of Oxford Sunnyside at Knockramer Park.
The visitors needed just three minutes to open the scoring when Jake Corbett stooped to head home into the far corner from the left post after a free-kick came over from the right.
Eoin Rooney doubled Rangers' lead on 19 minutes after running in to slide home a wayward pass across the area.
Jordan Hayes added number three with a strong finish following another defensive mishap before, two minutes into the second half, Lennox Camara pulled one back for Oxford with a header from a high free-kick into the area.
Corbett restored Rathfriland's three-goal cushion on 57 minutes after being played through around 18 yards out with Stephen McCavitt completing the scoring just five minutes after that into the unguarded net after beating keeper Mark Geoghegan to a long ball forward.
