BANNSIDERS STORM BACK AT LAKEVIEW
Coleraine came from behind at the break to defeat Loughgall at Lakeview Park.
The Bannsiders had the best of the chances during the early stages of the game with Jamie Glackin seeing an effort kept out by Nathan Gartside while, not long after that, Jamie McGonigle fired over following good work down the right from Kyle Spence.
Spence was involved again soon after with a ball into the box which Matthew Shevlin sent wide of the post with an overhead kick.
The action continued when visiting keeper Rory Brown rushed out to thwart Daire Kelly followed soon after when McGonigle failed to finish off a Shevlin ball at close range.
However the deadlock was finally broken after half-an-hour when the Villagers moved in front after Conor McCloskey's free-kick curled past Brown from the edge of the area.
Shevlin thought he had levelled when he turned home a McGonigle cross a few yards from goal only for the finish to be ruled out by the officials.
But Shevlin did equalise on 52 minutes after stroking the ball into the net when Dylan Boyle's initial effort had been blocked.
Then, not long after that, Shevlin missed the opportunity to edge Coleraine in front when he saw a spot-kick saved by Gartside while Spence couldn't tuck away the rebound.
However, Dean Shiels' side did seize the advantage on 66 minutes after Ciaron Harkin crossed to the near post for Glackin to head home.
And they added a third three minutes from time after substitute Rhyss Campbell came off the bench to volley home with an angled finish.
