CRUES HAVE TOO MUCH FOR LARNE
Jordan Forsythe hit the only goal of the game as Crusaders got the better of Larne at Inver Park.
An otherwise cagey first half was brightened up just past the half-hour mark when Forsythe rose highest to connect with Jacob Blaney's right-sided cross to head the ball decisively past Rohan Ferguson into the bottom corner.
After the break Jimmy Callacher might have added a second with a header from a corner but Ferguson did well to tip the ball over.
The Crues continued to have the better chances as the game developed with Phillip Lowry coming close only to fire wide from the edge of the box while, towards the end, Blaney dragged his shot wide under pressure from Dylan Sloan.
