SWIFTS SWEEP PAST 'GERS
Three goals inside the opening half-an-hour helped Dungannon Swifts sweep to victory over Carrick Rangers at Stangmore Park.
Andrew Mitchell opened the scoring after nine minutes after being teed up by John McGovern to knock the ball home from close range.
Leo Alves added a second on 20 minutes when he took a controlling touch before firing into the bottom right corner after a Kealan Dillon corner was initially cleared.
And the Swifts added a third on 28 minutes after McGovern combined with Bobby Jack McAleese to tee Adam Glenny up to finish.
Rangers pulled on back just before the hour when Paul Heatley found the net after Danny Gibson's cross came over from the left.
