SKY BLUES GRAB STOPPAGE TIME LEVELLER
Ballymena United bagged a stoppage time equaliser to share the spoils with Glentoran at The Showgrounds.
The Sky Blues might have moved in front inside the first five minutes when Calvin McCurry did well down the right before laying the ball off for Success Edogun but his well taken effort was brilliantly turned away by keeper Daniel Gyollai.
The Glens responded with a couple of half chances from Jonathan Russell and Cammy Palmer before going close around the half-hour mark when Joe Thomson turned a Danny Amos free-kick towards goal.
And the visitors had the best chance of the scoreless first half not long after that when Jordan Jenkins produced a full stretch diving save from Sean O'Neill which the home keeper touched onto the post before it was cleared.
Palmer sent an effort just the wrong side of the post early in the second half but, on 57 minutes, the Glens did break the deadlock when Christie Pattison got on the end of a long ball from Amos to direct it past O'Neill from 12 yards.
Nathaniel Ferris could have doubled the lead after that only to see his shot blocked on the line.
Then, with just over five minutes to go, United might have levelled but Joe Moore's effort was cleared off the line by Jenkins.
But, four minutes into added time, Ballymena did equalise when Moore was on hand to knock the rebound home after Edogun's initial shot came back off the far post.
