CARRICK CROWE OVER LATE WINNER
Joe Crowe hit a stoppage time winner as Carrick Rangers edged to victory over Larne in the derby at Taylors Avenue.
Stephen Baxter's crafted the first effort of note with less than ten minutes on the clock when Kyle Cherry spotted Rohan Ferguson off his line and attempted to find the net from 25 yards only for the Larne keeper to tip the ball over for a corner.
However, in a game of relatively few chances, it took another Ferguson reflex save late in the first half to deny Seanan Clucas' deflected effort from the edge of the area.
That pattern continued after the break, and although Rangers did have the best of what chances were created neither Ferguson nor his opposite number Jack McIntyre were unduly tested.
But that all changed in the 93rd minute when Crowe popped up inside the box to back heel the winner over the line from Cherry's low free-kick into the box.
